Obtaining Police Certificate
Available. Persons who have been incarcerated may obtain records from the Laboratorio de Criminalistica e Identificacion, Jefatura de la Policia (Laboratory of Criminology and Identification, Police Headquarters) in Mexico City, or from the Presidente Municipal (Municipal President) or Delegacion de Policia (Police Headquarters) of the area of residence.

Official documents are usually typed on stationery bearing a round seal containing the Mexican coat of arms. The stationery also bears a similar rubber stamp seal, with the coat of arms of Mexico, and reflects the name of the issuing office. This special stationery, frequently referred to as "tax paper", invariably bears either a fee stamp or a printed statement of the cost of the blank form. The cost of the prison record depends upon the number of sheets of tax paper utilized and the variable cost of investigation entailed in the issuance of the record.

Medical Exam Details
She should arrange to have her medical at latest 1-2 days before her consulate interview. She should bring passport, Applicant Summary (from mexico.usvisa-info.com), vaccination records, and if suffering chronic illnesses her medical records.

For Children 2 to 14 years of age, the medical should be at least 4 work days before the consular interview and it is recommended that they have their immunizations at least 4 weeks prior to their medical.

Depending on the clinic they will give her a sealed envelope with her test results or send the results directly to the consulate. If she gets an envelope, she must NOT break the seal. She must bring the unopened envelope with her to the embassy interview.

It is recommended she brings her vaccinations up to date while at the clinic. This is required later when she applies for her Green card in the USA, so by doing it now she will save herself time and expense later.

The medical fees are $190 (examination only), and $55 for under 15 years of age.

The following two clinics are authorized to conduct the medical.
